This is the tape of the chilling 911 call relayed by one of the pop icon's handlers at 12:21 p.m. Thursday requesting emergency assistance after Jackson suffered his fatal cardiac arrest.
The unidentified caller immediately requests an ambulance and gives the address of the 50-year-old singer's rented Holmby Hills mansion. Without giving Jackson's name, the caller tells the dispatcher that Jackson had collapsed and appeared to be lifeless.

Caller: I need an ambulance as soon as possible sir.
911: What's your address?
Caller: Los Angeles CA 90077
911: You said Carolwood?
Caller: Yes. Carolwood Drive. Yes
911: What's phone number? What's the problem exactly what happened?
Caller: We have, we have a gentleman here that needs help and he's not breathing yet -- he's not breathing -- we're trying to pump him but he's not breathing sir
911: Ok How old is he?
Caller: He's 50 years old sir
911: Ok he's unconscious he's not breathing?
Caller: Yes He's not breathing sir.
911: And he's not conscious either?
Caller: No he's not conscious
911: Is he on the floor? Where is he at right now?
Caller: He's on the bed sir he's on the bed
911: Ok let's get him on the floor
Caller: Ok
911: Ok let's get him on the floor -- I'm going to help you with CPR right now, ok
Caller: We need a get
911: Yes, we're already on our way there. I'm going to do as much to help you over the phone. We're already on our way. Did anybody see him?
Caller: Yes. We have a personal doctor with him sir.
911: Oh you have a doctor there?
Caller: Yes, but he's not responding to anything. He's not responding to CPR or anything
911: Oh ok well we're on our way there if your guys are doing CPR and you are instructed by a doctor he has higher authority than me and he's on there on scene. Did anybody witness what happened?
Caller: No just the doctor sir, the doctor been the only one here
911: Okay so did the doctor see what happened?
Caller: Doctor did you see what happened sir? Sir if you could just please.
911: We're on our way. I'm just passing these questions on to my paramedics -- they're on their way there sir.
Caller: Thank you sir, thank you sir he's just pumping he's pumping his chest but he's not responding to anything -- sir please
911: Ok we're on our way there we're less than a mile away we'll be there shortly.
Caller: Thank you sir thank you
911: Ok sir call us back if you need anything else. Thank you
Caller: Yes sir.
911: Bye
